Stian started as deck cadet in Østensjø Rederi in 2004, following his bachelor of Nautical Science graduation from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences the same year. Working his way up the ranks of the Østensjø Offshore fleet, Stian served as Master for 3 years, before joining the Østensjø main office in Haugesund in 2014 as Marine Advisor. He later served as Fleet Manager from 2015 and was again promoted to COO in 2022.

Alf Helge started as a deck apprentice with Østensjø Rederi in 1992. He completed his degree “Candidacy in Nautical Studies” in 1998, and worked the ranks in the Østensjø fleet becoming a Master in 2005. Since June 2011 he has worked in the main office as marine advisor for Edda Accommodation and later as operations manager for the company. Alf Helge became Fleet Manager in October 2015.

Olav first joined Østensjø Rederi as Chief Officer onboard Edda Fides in 2011. He started his career back in 1997 and completed Technical College with a degree as Master Mariner in 2001. He has experience on Chemical Tankers, PSV and MODU and ended his sea service as Master before he joined our onshore team as Crew Manager in 2013. In 2022 he was promoted to Fleet Manager.

Arne joined Østensjø Rederi in 2021. He started his career in 1994 and has since gained broad and solid experience from offshore maritime operations. He sailed 20 years as a Captain worldwide and has been involved in new build construction as well as planning an execution of rig move operations.

Phil started working with Østensjø Rederi in 2008 while supporting our offshore fleet for an Oil Major in the UK. He came onboard in 2014 as General Manager in our Aberdeen office and now holds the position of Area Manager UK. He has had a varied sea- and onshore career since the mid-1980s and spent many years in maritime training/assessment and maritime and offshore safety.

Endre joined Østensjø Rederi in 2021. He has more than 15 years’ experience from the offshore industry ranging from ship brokering, business development to management roles in companies such as Seabrokers, Riise Underwater Engieneering (Rue), Ocean Installer (Havfram), Dwellop and DOF Subsea. Endre holds Master of Business Administration from Norges Handels Høyskole (NHH).

Vivian joined Østensjø Rederi in 1998. Since joining Østensjø Rederi she has had various administrative roles before she became Charterer in 2003.

Sonja has been a part of Østensjø Rederi since spring of 2014. She has a bachelor degree in management and marketing from BI, Bergen. Her work experience include eight years with Fearnley Offshore Supply where she worked as a senior shipbroker.

Oscar started as a deck apprentice with Østensjø Rederi in 2011. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Nautical Science from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in 2017, he advanced through the ranks within the Østensjø Offshore fleet, serving as a deck officer for several years. In 2022, he transitioned to Østensjø's main office as a Marine Superintendent and was promoted to Charterer in 2024.
