Solent Towage Limited, a UK subsidiary of Østensjø Rederi AS has been awarded a 15 year contract by Esso Petroleum Company Limited to provide Waterborne Services at the Fawley Marine Terminal at Southampton, UK. The value of the contract is about GBP 62 million. This contract follows two previous consecutive contract periods which commenced in 1993.

M/V Edda Fauna - built at Aker Yards, Brattvaag, Norway was named on Saturday 12th January 2008 in Haugesund. The Inspection, Maintenance & Repair (IMR) Vessel was given the name "Edda Fauna" by the Lady Sponsor Mrs. Unni Margrethe Nestaas, the wife of Mr. Johannes Østensjø. The vessel will be completed and delivered during January 2008.
