Today at 12:25 Edda Freya was formally delivered to Østensjø Rederi from Kleven Ship yard.
The adventour of Edda Freya startet in October 2013 when we placed an order for the vessel at Kleven ship yard. The contract was, and still is, the largest contract in our company`s history.
The vessel is designed by Salt Ship Design in close cooperation with DeepOcean and our company. With a length of 149.8 metres, a width of 27 metres and 2300 square metres of total deck space it will be a powerful tool in the offshore construction market.
Edda Freya was launched on Saturday August 15, 2015 with the help of one of our tugs Felix. She was formally given her name by godmother Kjersti Bårdsen on April 15th 2016.
